One of the great standards of the romantic time period, Tchaikovsky’s intense and melancholic Sixth Symphony displays the great composer’s passionate persona as he struggles with the inevitability of life and death. Violin prodigy and mathematician Corey Cerovsek displays the brilliance of Glazunov’s Russian style in his Violin Concerto.
Inside the Music: Pre-concert talk by Maestro Theodore Kuchar begins at 6:30pm.
