Rocky Mountain High: An Evening with John Denver is an authentic celebration of John Denver’s timeless folk style. This concert experience features some of John Denver’s best known songs arranged for live orchestra and is led by internationally renowned composer/conductor/arranger, Lee Holdridge.

The HPO is joined onstage by acclaimed Canadian recording artist Rick Worrall and a Canadian all-star band of Steve Worrall (Canadian recording artist), Gary Smyth (guitar), Scott Grant (Drums and Percussion), Brian McMahon (Bass), Chris Stevens (Banjo), Susan Aylard (Fiddle and Violin), Neville Bowman (piano) and Delphine Litke (vocals). Guest artists, Miriam Khalil (soprano) and David Curry (tenor) join the band and the HPO for this sensational show.

Lee Holdridge is at the heart of this impassioned tribute as John Denver’s personal friend and one of Hollywood’s most honoured composers/arrangers/conductors. Holdridge has lent his talents to countless feature films, television movies and mini-series. Over the course of his distinguished career, Holdridge has been nominated 19 times for an Emmy Award, winning seven.

“…A man who I consider to be a genius!” ~ John Denver
