HAMILTON, ON – To mark our return to the stage and thank our community for their ongoing support, the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra (HPO) hosts a free full-orchestra concert at FirstOntario Concert Hall for all Hamiltonians on September 25. Coinciding with the first weekend of Culture Days in Hamilton, this concert is a celebration of our community and an opportunity for all Hamiltonians to experience the joy that live music provides. This concert will also be available to view online via live stream on HPO’s YouTube channel.

HPO Concertmaster Stephen Sitarski conducts the orchestra in an inviting program of bright and beautiful music by Mozart, Haydn, Joseph Bologne, and more, intended to delight all fans of live music. This will be the first time since February 2020 that the orchestra performs on the FirstOntario Concert Hall stage with an audience.

“This concert is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate Hamilton and show our gratitude to be a part of this city,” says HPO Board Chair Steve Lloyd, “After 18 months without in-person concerts, our musicians are thrilled to come together and make music again before a live audience.”

In accordance with Step Three guidelines in the Province of Ontario’s Roadmap to Reopen, advance registration is required to attend this event. Registrants may select a quantity of one, two or four seats when registering and health and safety guidelines will be in place for the protection of all attendees.
