Join Composer-in-Residence Abigail Richardson-Schulte for a fascinating talk on the lives and music of composers while enjoying coffee, tea and treats with friends. Then, make your way to the orchestra level of the Great Hall for a peek at an HPO orchestra rehearsal.
In this fascinating talk, Abigail explores the lives and music of Ravel and Sibelius, as well as the world premiere of her orchestral work The Mermaid and Fisherman featuring Principal Trumpet Michael Fedyshyn and Soprano Stacie Dunlop as soloists. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at an HPO rehearsal led by Music Director Gemma New.
