Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the board of directors of the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra has made the difficult but prudent decision to cancel the remainder of the 19-20 Season.

Enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at your HPO and get to know the music on our Mainstage in an inviting environment. Join Composer-in-Residence Abigail Richardson-Schulte for a fascinating talk on the lives and music of composers while enjoying coffee, tea and treats with friends. Then, make your way to the orchestra level of the Great Hall for a peek at an HPO orchestra rehearsal.

In this engaging talk, Abigail delves into the life of Beethoven and the history surrounding his Symphony No. 9. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at an HPO rehearsal led by Music Director Gemma New.
