Bars and Concessions
There are bars located on the orchestra level, mezzanine and first balcony of FirstOntario Concert Hall where patrons may purchase beverages and snacks. Though food cannot be brought into the Great Hall, drinks with lids are permitted.
Outside food and beverage items may not be brought inside our venues. Water bottles are permitted within the hall. Reusable water containers or opened bottles of water must be emptied before entering and may be refilled at the concessions at no charge.
Box Office
Please note the FirstOntario Concert Hall Box Office is currently closed to the public due to COVID-19.
Tickets to all HPO events can be purchased online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Purchase tickets over the phone by calling 905-526-7756 during business hours.
Coat Check
Coat check is available at FirstOntario Concert Hall for $2. Donors at the Conductors Circle level receive complimentary coat check access.
First Aid & Security
FirstOntario Concert Hall and the HPO are committed to the safety and well-being of all guests and patrons, and aim to provide a safe, comfortable and enjoyable concert experience. Security and medical staff are present at all Mainstage concerts and available to assist patrons. Please alert an usher if medical attention is needed.

Latecomers
Not to worry if you arrive late for the concert! The ushers will seat you at an appropriate break in the concert, usually in between pieces.
Perfume and Cologne
FirstOntario Concert Hall is a scent-free environment. We share the air, so please be considerate of those in the audience who may have allergies or other sensitivities.
Pre-Concert Talks
HPO Composer-in-Residence Abigail Richardson-Schulte interviews musicians, conductors and composers in the Inside the Music: Pre-Concert Talk which takes place in the Great Hall of FirstOntario Concert Hall one hour before the scheduled start time of Mainstage concerts.
