The Eclectic Local Outdoor Concert Series is co-presented by the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hamilton Music Collective
Title sponsor is the incite Foundation for the Arts.
Back for the third year, Eclectic Local is a free outdoor concert series in the heart of downtown Hamilton! We are thrilled to again co-present this series with the Hamilton Music Collective. Crowd favourites Who It Is! open the series on July 6 with their unique soul-funk sound, perfect for a sunny Saturday afternoon. HPO violinist Suhashini Arulanandam and cellist Sybil Shanahan are Tadioli Duo, taking us on a journey through Western Classical, Argentine Tango and music with South Asian influences. Up and coming jazz-funk-fusion band Junestone, led by Hamilton bassist and vocalist Olivia Brown performs on August 3. Finally, a very special performance by the HPO String Quartet with renowned tenor vocalist Bud Roach singing jazz classics of the Great American Songbook, arranged by HPO cellist Laura Jones. Grab a cold drink from the beer garden and join us for this family-friendly outdoor series on Saturdays at 5:00pm in our outdoor space at 141 Park Street North, just steps from James Street North.
