Hamilton, ON – Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra board chair Anne Tennier is pleased to announce the appointment of Kim Varian to the position of Executive Director. Currently serving as Interim Executive Director, Kim joined the HPO nearly four years ago as the Director of Development and Communications and has been an integral part of the organization’s growth and success.
“We are delighted to see Kim step into this role,” said Tennier. “She brings years of strategic management and development experience, and as interim ED, we have been particularly impressed with how she has led the organization through this turbulent time. Her experience and thoughtful leadership has been a tremendous asset that will guide us in the future.”
Kim brings more than 20 years of senior management experience across public and private sectors, holding executive positions in development, marketing and operations. Recognized for strategic management, community partnership building and revenue generating initiatives, her career is grounded in arts and education sectors.
