FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HAMILTON, ON – The Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra is thrilled to announce the line-up for From The Beatles, With Love at FirstOntario Concert Hall (formerly Hamilton Place).
Arranged by Hamilton’s own, Darcy Hepner, this incredible concert experience is a unique opportunity to combine the classic love songs of The Beatles with the stellar sounds of the HPO and vocals by Hamilton-based performers like acclaimed singer-songwriter Ian Thomas, Juno Award winning Blues artist Steve Strongman, and Hamilton’s own Jamie Oakes, Jeremy Wright and D’eve Archer. Band members include Bill Dillion on guitar, Dusty Micale on keyboards, Paul Intson on bass and Rick Gratton on drums.
From the Beatles, With Love features the Fab Four’s favourites arranged for live orchestra in collaboration with world-renowned artists.
Rave reviews from our last Beatles performance:
“The Beatles concert, musical selections that evening and guest performers, including those of individual HPO players, was absolutely outstanding!”
“We didn’t want the Beatles concert to end…it was fantastic!”
“It was a wonderful night. The quality of the music was outstanding. I loved the hometown feel of having local artists participate. This was one of the best concerts I have ever experienced.”
