The beauty and excitement of opera returns to the Great Hall in an evening of magnificent Italian operatic works. Experience the drama, intrigue and intensity of this genre in a concert featuring famous arias by Verdi, Puccini and Rossini, along with some of opera’s greatest and most familiar melodies.

This powerful program features Puccini’s famous arias O mio babbino caro, Nessun Dorma, and Vissi d’arte, Verdi’s Overture La Forza del Destino, excerpts from Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci, Mascagni’s Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana and many more vibrant works.


The HPO is also proud to announce that local entrepreneur and philanthropist Teresa Cascioli takes the stage as our special guest as she conducts the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra in Rossini’s William Tell Overture.
