Welcome to the Hamilton Philharmonic’s 2008-2009 season!

We are entering one of the most exciting periods in Hamilton’s long history of orchestral music - 125 years and counting! Particularly thrilling for me is the introduction this year of a completely new series. Elegance, 3 concerts of classical, baroque, and chamber orchestra music, presented at Central Presbyterian Church, just up the road from Hamilton Place.

You will hear sounds new and old from around the world in our Pops series, and the well-loved standards in Masterworks. This year, we celebrate the bicentennial of Mendelssohn’s birth, with performances of many of his greatest pieces, concluding the season with his "Midsummer Night's Dream." We have something for every taste this year, and more subscription choices than ever. Join us for some truly astonishing music-making!
